Conclusion of the diamond jubilee celebration
The Pius X Industrial Training Institution recently celebrated its 60th anniversary with a year-long series of cultural events and technological displays. The Diamond Jubilee celebration closed with a ceremony at the Pius X ITI auditorium, presided over by Rev. Dr. E P Mathew SJ, the Provincial of Kerala Jesuits. The function was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Joseph Vaniyapurakkal, the Vicar General of the Changnacherry Archdiocese. The event included felicitation addresses from representatives of various socio-cultural organizations. Additionally, the ITI campus in Edathua, Alappuzha hosted a one-day technical expo to promote technical education and showcase cutting-edge technology to students from various schools.
Punarjani, an initiative by Naipunya Karmasena
​The Naipunya Karmasena and NSS unit completed all required maintenance work at the Community Health Centre in Edathua, Alappuzha under the initiative of "Punarjani 2023". They fulfilled all requests made by the authorities and completed every repair job. The Karmasena receives requests from other nonprofit organizations due to their numerous activities and ensures that they meet the needs. These initiatives aim to instill values of selfless service in young trainees through community service.
Industrial visit by the electrical department to the 11 KV sub-station, Edathua
Our trainees in the electrical trade, along with two of our instructors, were granted permission by the KSEB to visit the 11 KV substation in Edathua for a two-day industrial visit. The tour proved very beneficial for 45 ITI trainees. During the visit, KSEB officials conducted classes that were highly informative and useful for our trainees, who will be able to apply the knowledge gained in their future professional careers.
